Buying Tokens of Appreciation

Or, if you’re more used to the pre stylechapel, post modernist, part baked, pan handled, pot bellied terminology … gift vouchers.

We call them Tokens of Appreciation because that’s exactly what they are. For example: “Thanks for being the best Mum in the world. Here, buy yourself something nice. On me.” or “Hey buddy, I really appreciate you springing me from the can last Wednesday. Here’s a ToA. Don’t say I never repay my debts.” Or similar.

Essentially, if you can’t decide what to buy the woman (or man) who needs a style fix, leave the quandary up to them.

You can choose from various amounts. Just visit the gift vouchers section, add them to your shopping bag like you would any other product and pay for them at checkout. We can either post them to you or we can send them directly to the lucky individual.

At checkout, enter your details for the billing address, then use the comments box to tell us whether you want it posted or emailed to you and the recipient’s name. Or if you want us to post it to the recipient, include their name, address and your message in the comments box. By the way, our tokens look fab so it’s great to get them in the post.

On the Order Confirmation screen please don't edit the delivery address. Leave that as your address.

We'll post them out free of charge. Please ensure that you have the correct postal address, as stylechapel is not liable for the delivery of a voucher to an incorrect or non-existent address.

Redeeming Tokens of Appreciation

Sorry to get a bit boring but these things are important. So here's the small print...

Tokens can be redeemed against any of the products on stylechapel. Each token can be used only once and please note we don’t give change if the person spends less than the amount of the voucher. Each token has a unique reference number that needs to be entered at checkout.

When redeeming your voucher, if the balance is zero, that's fine but just to let you know in case you end up with a balance of 1p (highly unlikely). The minimum amount that can be put through the checkout is 2p. If you try putting through 1p, you will get an error message saying "insufficient amount". So please make sure your order total less the amount of your voucher is 2p or more. Seem odd? We thought so too. But that's banks for you.

A token must be used within a year otherwise it will no longer be valid. Let’s face it, if they haven’t made their mind up in a year, their time and money might be better spent seeking some sort of medical help.

Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. If a product bought with a gift voucher is returned for an exchange or refund*, any money will be refunded as a gift voucher (*subject to our Returns Policy). And finally, stylechapel is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers or use without your permission.
