Somewhere in a basement in Fleet Street, a young hack has been working into the night, tap-tap-chinging away on his typewriter in the glare of bare overhead lighting and a fug of cheap cigarette smoke to submit his copy before the presses roll, churning out piles of early editions that are dumped out of vans around the city before dawn in preparation for the weather-wizened vendor’s shout of “Extra extra read all about it.”
Hang on a second... we seem to be trapped in the late 70s.
More like the Anna Wintour of the style scene, resplendent in her minimalist office overlooking bustling shopping streets, looking up from her morning double-dry-skinny-white-mocca-choccachino and barking through frosted, monogrammed glass to an outwardly confident yet inwardly quivering wreck of an assistant-to-the-assistant: “Get stylechapel on the phone. They have this season’s must-want. And I want it in my magazine. Chop chop. Now where’s my sushi?”
Or something like that.

We are hands down adoringly devoted worshippers of Stylist magazine. Stylist Wednesday is our favourite day of the week, so to see one of our fabulous pin up cushions (seductive Ava) appear in the highly coveted Style List, well we swooned I can tell you. We heart Stylist (in case you hadn't gathered that already).
