Somewhere in a basement in Fleet Street, a young hack has been working into the night, tap-tap-chinging away on his typewriter in the glare of bare overhead lighting and a fug of cheap cigarette smoke to submit his copy before the presses roll, churning out piles of early editions that are dumped out of vans around the city before dawn in preparation for the weather-wizened vendor’s shout of “Extra extra read all about it.”
Hang on a second... we seem to be trapped in the late 70s.
More like the Anna Wintour of the style scene, resplendent in her minimalist office overlooking bustling shopping streets, looking up from her morning double-dry-skinny-white-mocca-choccachino and barking through frosted, monogrammed glass to an outwardly confident yet inwardly quivering wreck of an assistant-to-the-assistant: “Get stylechapel on the phone. They have this season’s must-want. And I want it in my magazine. Chop chop. Now where’s my sushi?”
Or something like that.

We love getting mentions and write-ups, which is why we love press bods and media peeps. Yes we do.
Anything you want (within reason of course), get in touch and we’ll have it winging its way over before you can say “How can a clam cram in a clean cream can?”
We’re adding to the collection all the time with new designers and fantastic original products.
So if you’re working on a feature, we’ll be happy to suggest suitable pieces. And we’re used to working to tight deadlines (in fact, we thrive on it) so please think of us if your article is about to hit the press but you’re missing that final…
